Great tool to keep your pup from tearing up their potty pads, similar to what they're used to going potty on here.
For those inevitable potty accidents, use this to get rid of the odor, so your pup won't smell that they went potty there, and thus go there again. These cleaners have a special enzyme that brakes down pet accidents.
Great for wiping off feet/legs that got muddy while going outside to potty. Also great to freshen up their whole body between baths!
When you first bring home your tiny puppy, you'll need a small crate. If it's too big, they will go potty on one side and sleep on the other. You want a small enough crate to deter them from going potty in it. This is the crate they will sleep in, or stay in when you're not able to supervise them.
These bowls are hard for your puppy to tip over.
Also, stainless steel won't harbor common doggy bacteria like giardia.
My puppies LOVE these, and it takes them a few minutes to chew up / eat. I give these to them only when they're in their crate, which helps give the crate a positive association.
This is the food your puppy has grown up eating.
It is best to keep your pup on the same food, at least for a while, so they don't get a stomach upset from a food change in addition to the change of going to a new home.
I recommend buying a giant crate like this to use as your puppy's play area, instead of the traditional x-pen. This is because Basenji pups can limb like cats and learn to escape their x-pen in short order. This is the place you can put potty pads, food, water and toys where they can spend supervised play time.
This toy helps keep your puppy occupied for a while, and has the added benefit of cleaning their teeth while they work on it! This came highly recommended from one of my puppy owners.
My dogs love these balls more than all the others. They are small and fit in their mouths easily, have a great squeak, and are hard to destroy.
Sometimes young pups find the balls above too hard to squeak. They LOVE these soft squeaky balls. They fit in their mouth and are super easy to squeak for young pups.
Can't forget a good tug rope! Another puppy favorite.
This is great for teaching fetch and give. It's also great for keeping your teething puppy's sharp little teeth on the rope instead of you!
Years ago, I had a professional trainer get me started with this particular brand of e-collar, and I have used them for years ever since. In my experience, Basenjis are super responsive to e-collars. They enable me to take my dogs off-leash hiking, horse riding, etc... and feel confident that I can re-inforce the recall and keep my dogs safe.

That said, these really ARE products I use myself and highly recommend!
